  • Nancy Skancke is a partner in the firm representing private and public entities before the Federal and State agencies and the Federal Courts on energy regulatory law matters and assisting clients with related commercial matters. Her practice in the hydroelectric area include matters involving permitting/licensing proceedings, compliance matters, FERC annual charges, Qualified Facilities status, Clean Renewable Energy Bonds, and Production Tax Credits. In the natural gas area, Nancy represents clients on pipeline/power rate and tariff issues, natural gas pipeline certification matters, and gathering/jurisdiction determinations. For her energy clients, Nancy also advises and assists in negotiating contracts, assists in strategic planning and counsels on commercial matters, performs regulatory due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, monitors Federal legislation, negotiates settlements of regulatory proceedings, and litigates unresolvable regulatory disputes before the Federal and State courts and agencies.
