Rekha is an associate attorney with the firm and advises hydroelectric project owners and
developers in licensing proceedings and on compliance matters arising under the Federal
Power Act and environmental statutes. In the area of electric power regulation, Rekha
assists the Firm’s clients with electric rate and tariff proceedings and with compliance
matters related to market-based rates before the FERC. Rekha has prior experience in both the government and non-profit sectors. As an
attorney-advisor at the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Surface Transportation
Board, Rekha worked on railroad rate and service issues and rail restructuring
transactions. During law school, Rekha was a law clerk for the United States
Environmental Protection Agency in the Office of General Counsel and at the
Environmental Integrity Project. Rekha also was a legal intern for the Center for
International Environmental Law.
