GKRSE works closely with its electric clients to develop strategies that are driven by the clients’ business and operational needs. We help our clients to understand regulations, to influence policy, and to adapt their business operations to the constantly evolving rules of the industry. Our efforts include representation of our clients in industry restructuring, RTO/ISO development, reliability matters, rate setting (including obtaining market-based rate approvals), interconnection and transmission transactions, power pooling and power purchase and sales arrangements, market compliance, and mergers and acquisitions.

We are active members in the American Public Power Association, Energy Bar Association, Electric Cooperative Bar Association and public power agencies and organizations at the state level. Our firm’s members are frequent participants, speakers and presenters at various public power seminars and the Energy Bar Association.
