EXPERIENCE & COMMITMENT
GKRSE’s lawyers draw from experience in other law firms, the private sector, the Federal Power Commission (“FPC”),
the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (“FERC”), the Department of Energy (“DOE”), and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (“NRC”), to provide our clients with experienced and thorough representation, whether the matter is before an
administrative agency, a state or federal court, a dispute resolution service, or in negotiations in the private sector. Our lawyers actively participate in professional and industry associations; we also write and
lecture frequently on issues of interest to our clients and the energy industry.
We are committed to maintaining a close working relationship with our clients and with the FERC, as the primary regulatory authority affecting most of our clients. Each with more than 30 years of experience as former FPC/FERC attorneys and private sector counsel, our
partners are well known to the FERC staff and officials for their legal abilities, fair representation of clients, and integrity. Our attorneys are involved in all aspects of energy regulation – natural gas, public utility and hydroelectric – before the FERC and in certain state commission proceedings. We assist and advise all of our clients in identifying the best
means for maintaining ongoing communication and fostering a mutually beneficial relationship with the FERC, as well as with suppliers and customers in the private sector.
